After becoming a runner when she was 36 years old, Susan qualified for the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials three times at age 40, 44, and 48. She is a 4-time U.S. masters marathon champion and has a personal best marathon time of 2:41, which she ran at age 42. Susan is the owner of Believe Train Become, a run-coaching company based in Arizona. Susan spent five years as program director for the non-profit organization Chances for Children, which provides clinical services for families with young children to strengthen understanding, enhance sensitivity, and nurture relationships. Having coached hundreds of runners, Susan is passionate about helping others improve their fitness and self-belief through running. One of the fastest age-group marathon runners in the U.S., Susan strives to take her own running to the next level, while coaching and inspiring others along the way.
